Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 2026

Background

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of vextor.tech and its public pages ("Our Site") — including our homepage, pricing, resources, FAQ, and support pages. They do not apply to your use of the Vextor product itself once you have created an account and connected your accounting system; that is governed separately by our End User Licence Agreement ("EULA"). If you do not agree to these Terms & Conditions, please stop using Our Site immediately.

1. Definitions

  • "Account" means the account you create to sign up for Vextor, which is a precondition to using the Service under the EULA.
  • "Service" means the Vextor product itself (the live financial dashboard and related features), accessed once you have created an Account and accepted the EULA.
  • "We/Us/Our" means McMillan Grubb Limited, a company registered in Scotland under company number SC868764, whose registered office is at Eagle Labs Beco Building, 58 Kingston Street, Glasgow, United Kingdom, G5 8BP (trading as Vextor®).
  • "You/Your" means any visitor to Our Site, whether or not you go on to create an Account.

2. Information About Us

Our Site is owned and operated by McMillan Grubb Limited. You can contact us at [email protected].

3. Access to Our Site

3.1 Access to Our Site is free of charge.

3.2 Our Site is provided "as is" and on an "as available" basis. We may alter, suspend, or discontinue Our Site (or any part of it) at any time without notice.

4. Creating an Account

4.1 Certain parts of Our Site — including the ability to sign up for Vextor — require you to create an Account.

4.2 Account sign-up is via email and a passwordless "magic link" — there is no password to set or remember.

4.3 Once you have created an Account and accepted the EULA, your use of the Vextor Service itself (not Our Site's public pages) is governed by the EULA, not these Terms & Conditions.

4.4 The information you provide when creating an Account must be accurate and complete. You must keep it up to date.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

5.1 All content on Our Site (text, images, branding, and the Vextor® name and logo) belongs to or is licensed by Us, and is protected by UK and international intellectual property law.

5.2 You may view, browse, and print pages from Our Site for your own personal or internal business reference. You may not otherwise reproduce, copy, distribute, sell, or re-use content from Our Site without our express written permission.

5.3 Our status as the owner of the content on Our Site must always be acknowledged where content is reused with permission.

6. No Scraping, Text or Data Mining

6.1 You may not undertake, enable, or facilitate any form of web scraping, or text or data mining, on or with respect to any part of Our Site.

6.2 You may not use any part of Our Site, or any content or information on it, for the purpose of developing or training AI models or systems.

6.3 This prohibition covers the use of any bot, scraper, crawler, or other automated tool to access, copy, or republish content from Our Site, and applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. Links

7.1 You may link to Our Site provided you do so fairly and legally, and do not imply any endorsement by Us that does not exist, or use our logos or trade marks without permission.

7.2 Links to other websites on Our Site are provided for information only. We do not accept responsibility for the content of third-party sites.

8. Liability and Disclaimers

8.1 Nothing on Our Site constitutes financial, accounting, tax, or investment advice. It is provided for general information purposes only.

8.2 We make reasonable efforts to keep Our Site accurate and up to date but do not guarantee this. This clause does not apply to the Service itself, which is separately covered under the EULA.

8.3 To the fullest extent permitted by law, We accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of (or inability to use) Our Site.

8.4 Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits Our liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited by law.

9. Security

9.1 You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to Our Site, introduce malware, or attack Our Site by denial-of-service or similar means. Breaching this clause may constitute a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990, and we will report such breaches to the relevant authorities.

10. Acceptable Use

10.1 You must use Our Site lawfully and must not use it to transmit anything unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent, or to harm any person.

10.2 We may suspend or terminate your access to Our Site (and, where applicable, your Account) if you materially breach these Terms & Conditions.

11. Privacy and Cookies

Use of Our Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, both of which are incorporated into these Terms & Conditions by reference.

12. Changes to these Terms & Conditions

12.1 We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Material changes will be notified at least 30 days before they take effect where you have an active Account; otherwise, continued use of Our Site after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Contacting Us

Please email us at [email protected] with any questions about these Terms & Conditions.

14. Law and Jurisdiction

14.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
